Q. Do I need to fill out the FAA medxpress form for every FAA medical exam?

A. Yes, since October 2012 the only way a medical certificate can be issued is via the FAA medxpress system. Once your FAA medxpress form is submitted you will receive a confirmation number that you need to provide to the AME so that he may access you medical data.
